She has been doing this for the last month and getting louder. Are there meds to give her here in Michigan  that a primary Doc can give her.   On another note we have a Take Five program here in the UP of Michigan.

Take her there and drop her off for 5 hours.  I only wish that I would have used it when I first heard about it. That was a year or so ago.   I finally tried it but it worked for me . The wife hates it and won't go again.  If I would have did it last year I think the results would have been all good,   I'm kicking my own butt for that. We tried for 30 minutes  Wednesday to get her out of the truck!!

Those 5 hours Monday were really helpful for me.  I'm going to try one more time to get her to go the coming week.   I'm going to kick myself again!!   Thanks to all on here, it makes my frustrations go away reading what others are going thru.  I'm not alone .  Hoot

Building on Victoria’s suggestion, how about telling her the Take Five program called and asked if she would be willing to come and help, that they really need her?

She doesn't understand anything , but she knows what she doesn't like.   Cleaning her up is a major task- just getting her into the shower takes 10 minutes. Trying to clean her up is something else.  She has her Depends half on now, no shirt and sitting in chair in living room. Most of the time no bra and if I do get it on her it stays on for quite a few days. Probably in stage 6. She has herself covered with a towel.  Will try to get the shirt on her in a bit. Hoot

Dear Hoot, please don’t give up on the Take 5 program yet! I’d try every trick in the book and make up things too before I’d give up! You deserve this time for yourself. I’m sorry things are so difficult. Good luck to you!

Hoot please keep trying to get her there. Do you have someone else who could take her for you? Just throwing something out there. You need the time for yourself. There are some good suggestion that have been posted already .  Wishing the best for you!

I stopped in today to see them (Take Five ) and they are going to cancel it. Only 3 were coming, my wife was one of them.

Called a Care place today for long term care and they are going to be in touch with CHAC to get things going.I let them know she has Alzheimer's.   I also asked  DW would like to go for a ride today.  She blew up, started yelling etc.

Went to my meeting Wednesday evening asked our son to check on her.  He did and DW blew up again, He took it kind of hard but his wife let him know that's not Mom doing it it that darn* disease.

At my meeting today I unloaded what was going on at home, I got a lot of feed back that was very good for me.  They can see how it is effecting me. One was saying something about him and his wife talking, that tore me up. It isn't happening here. Hoot
