Just wanted to let you know you're on my mind, Hope things are going okay for you.

Hello my friend! The hospice nurse feels like my sweet momma could pass away today. All the physical signs of near death are present. Momma is peaceful and comfortable. The house is quiet and peaceful. I’m sitting next to her bed and the dogs are lying under her bed. Dad is calm and sitting in the den. I am thankful for this alone time I have with her. What a blessing. 

My brother came yesterday with his daughter. He is coming back today. My sister will come after work. 

Ed, thank you for checking in on me. You are all in my heart today.

Quilting brings calm

Abc-  It sounds like you and your family are as prepared as anyone can be.   It’s good that your brother made it yesterday and that both siblings will be back later today.   All of us are with you in spirit.  It’s been a long  journey for you and I know you will need time to process it.

Abc, it sounds like a peaceful way to go, with loved ones and animals being close by. I know this is very hard, but it is inevitable for all of us. I'm really glad that your brother and sister will be there for comfort. Prayers coming for all.

Oh ABC123 , 

I’ve been praying for you and you’ve been on my mind too the last couple days. 

   Your description of the room is a very peaceful one- You sitting by her bed with the dog at your feet. I am writing this while sitting next to my husband , with the dog at my feet also. 

   I think that is a very nice way to go. It’s not the only good way , but it is nice to have a dog and loved ones in the picture. 

  You have done a great job with her. We are all with you in Spirit. I hope it’s not too late a night for you but I’m sure your going to do what you have to do to be with her to the end.

I’m so glad I took a moment to check in! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Lady Texan, it is so darn good to hear from you.! 

Momma is sleeping peacefully. Meds have her comfortable. Our hospice nurse didn’t expect Momma to make it through the day. We just never know do we. The one thing I am sure of is her faith. I know without a doubt that she is in His hands. 

Thank you all for your prayers. The prayers are keeping me on my feet.
