This morning my DH saw an attractive woman on TV and said, "Hubba Hubba."  I  haven't heard that term in over 75 years.  I first heard it when I was 10  and asked the teenage babysitter what it meant.  DH is 89 and I am 86 and I sometimes think we're responding to one of those Facebook postings of "you're really old if you remember....."  DH also calls his jeans dungarees and asked if we could go to Howard Johnsons for an ice cream cone.  At least this gives us something to talk about that we both remember.

Ah yes the orange roof had the best grilled cheese. I know I am old because I have an extensive music media collection but to way to play it.

I thought Howard Johnson’s was the most fabulous place!! I also really liked a certain candy log from Stuckey’s!

Brings back good memories. My father couldn't drive by a Stuckeys without stopping, and he loved the saltwater taffy at HoJo's. But this was a man whose sweet tooth killed him, he considered lime sherbet a green vegetable.

DH still thinks anything green and leafy on his plate is grounds for divorce.  My learning to camouflage green and leafy has been beneficial in dealing with the ALZ requests that can't be met like real wine instead of non-alcoholic.  Thanks for all your responses. Good to have some humor.
