Paying For Air Medical Transport

I found an Air Medical Transport service to move my LO Long distance closer to us. When I called them, they said we have to pay $26,000 check immediately before they will even book.

$28,000 by credit card... I was taught not to pay off a non-local business you are not familiar with before service is rendered, but the booking agent said "That's how all Air Services do it"

Does anyone have any experience with these businesses? What do you guys think.

    If you're going to use their services and have that much money to do it with, I believe all of them are like that and require payment up front.  I suppose you can ask for references.
