Does anyone else notice that being on this forum creates an unusual drain on your device’s battery? I use 2 different model tablets,  and I can almost watch the battery level drain on both when I’m here. It doesn’t happen on other sites, at least not noticeably. Or maybe it’s just me or my devices?

I have not noticed this.  But when my old smartphone was failing last year, it could not hold a charge.  I had to get a new smartphone and I can use it all day, especially on YT.

Me neither RM, haven't noticed it. There was a big story on npr yesterday about the Greek government putting spyware on opponents phones and that's how they were caught, it was draining the batteries and a journalist noticed. Not to be paranoid, but checking for malware might be in order? Beware of Greeks bearing gifts?
