Not doing well.

Mother's bpm is 30.  Oxygen is 88.  Watching her die. ....

Sorry.  Correction: BPM 118  O2=88  Respiration 30

This is truly cruel.  Only a demon could imagine such torture for a caregiver loved one.

I likely said in past few days that my whole thing in life the past two years has been her care.  I mau be lost for a while.  Actually, I have cared for her much, much longer than that.  My father passed 38 years ao.  Ihave been with Mom most every weekend since then.  She would bristle at thought that she needed me there.  But, if one weekend I didn't show up, she'd be calling.  She told me several years ago, "It's just me and you now."  The rest don't care.

I tried to contact the hospice bereavement counseling, but no answer.

Gentle suggestion: why not take the monitors off? It's not helpful information and likely just adding to your anxiety. Best thing you can do is be with her in as much peace and quiet as possible.

It's just an oximeter and my sister is an RN, measuring respiration.  We need those numbers to adjust her morphine, ativan, atropine, etc.
