I'm new to this. Thank you all so much for your kind words. My poor father is just beside himself. He tries so hard to be patient. She's had 2 UTI's because she refuses to get in the shower. She hasn't brushed her teeth in who knows how long. She said she has bit theres no toothbrush. She got violent towards myself and my Dad last month. She was breaking off pieces of wood and when we tried to stop her she came close to stabbing us. It's just really hard. My mom is gone, the one I remember had OCD and now walks around half naked!

The next time she gets violent call 911, she is going to hurt you or your dad she has no idea what she is doing. Her mind is broken. Get her to a hospital and don't let her come back home.  They will have to find a place for her.

 Knives anything sharp hammer etc have to be put away lock and key. In her fits of rage she could kill one of you. Call Adult Protective Services. Others will chime in,  Jo C is one on here you better listen too.  She has helped me a lot. I was worried that I was going to hurt my loved one, I just couldn't caregive anymore. Hoot
