In search of Part-time Caregiver w/ Dementia experience for my Mom in Northern New Jersey

Hi, 

We are looking to hire a part-time caregiver in Northern New Jersey to take my Mom out from her Memory Care unit for walks, to go to the shopping mall, a movie, etc.  

Any personal recommendations are most welcome.

I don’t have personal recommendations but I’ve had luck getting and vetting applicants from Care.com. Good luck with your search.

I've also hired a couple of very good people through Care.com.  My best caregiver, however, I found by asking a nurses aide who visited my mother on hospice whether she knew anyone good who would want the job.  She said, "Yes, me."  And, she was fantastic!
