Incontinence alternative

I just learned about the PureWick female external catheters now used in hospitals.  It might be useful for some of our members.  My neighbor used it after her surgery and said it was great!

    I was recently hospitalized and used this product. It was comfortable and worked well. I highly recommend it.

    My mom had one when she was hospitalized for emergency hip replacement at nearly 92. It is a miraculous invention! We had a hard time convincing her (when she was awake) to "just let it go, I promise you there will be no mess!" because her infant toilet training was one of the last things to go.  

    In 2019, the wall hookup for the vacuum for it seemed pretty complicated, but maybe they are making home versions now!
