Alzheimer’s Grief Support

Is there a site where I can connect with caregivers that have lost a spouse with dementia for Grief Counseling?

So sorry it took me so long to reply. On ALZ.org you will find links to what you need. Take care of yourself.

You might try calling the 800 helpline 800-272-3900. The specialists on the phone could send you some resources for your area. If you were in a support group while your spouse was alive, you may want to continue attending. Sometimes sharing what you have learned on the journey may help another who is just starting the care partner journey. It may lift your spirits to help someone.

Have you found a support group for caregivers who

have lost someone from Alzheimer’s?  I lost my wife in August and am interested also.

    Please let me know.

    Hello,

I am in a Zoom support group for those who have lost someone to Alzheimer's. It is being offered through the Hospice company we had for my mom. You might ask at your local Hospice company or even look online for a Hospice that isn't local or that you weren't involved with. They may still be able to help you find one. It has been hugely helpful for me... I hope you can connect with one soon. God Bless.
