Suggestions

I try and see my Mom most days in MC, everytime I go she begs me to take her to to see her Mom. I try and distract, make excuses but she gets upset and I am running out of ways to keep her from getting upset. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you maybe tried the usual fiblets?  'We will go tomorrow'  'Mom is away on vacation'

Is it just her mom she is fixated on, or is it other agitations that may call for some type of medication change?

Just going to see her Mom, she is worried about her. Of course she is always wanting to leave the MC, get her car back, move into an apartment or go home. Lately though it's been more wanting to see her Mom. She would not believe the vacation fiblet, they never took vacations.

My first thought is that maybe she’s feeling uncomfortable, anxious, scared or any other feeling when a mother’s love and protection is all we really want and need.  Maybe she needs extra cuddles and reinforcement that she’s not alone and she’ll be “ok”, like a child might.  That makes me sad if that’s the case.

I hope you both get some relief from these episodes.
