Coming here for Advice

How many are coming here for advice and than not using what is given. I was one of them when I first got on here.  I have learned that the advice given is given by caregivers who have gone thru or going thru this journey with our Loved One's.

It is a lot easier doing what is suggested or at least trying to do it.  Why did we come on here! We had situations with our Loved One that we didn't have a clue how to handle it. The caregivers here are not blowing smoke, they have experienced the troubles others like us are having.

They tell us to get a CELA, yes it costs money but without one it can get very costly. They know what to do to protect your assets and a lot more. Getting our LO in Memory Care and the right way to do it. Medicaid is good but they can come back and get paid by the estate if we aren't protected.

Getting our LO's name on the waiting list for MC at more than 2-3 places.  There are waiting lists that you won't believe. You most likely won't need them now but later when things go bad.

Please listen to the advice given, it can make things a lot easier for the caregiver.  Others will chime in and over more advice.  Hoot
