Protective/rash cream or powder?

My DM has begun to gave poo in her depends and I want to get ahead of any skin breakdown or rash (the area between cheeks is a little pinkish). Do you have any suggestions? This is a first for me. So much out there but I trust you all as living experience is best!

    We have the best result with "Butt Paste,"   which is a zinc based product.

    We like the Medline Remedy Essentials Zinc Paste (orange tube). My FiL has been incontinent, bed and chair bound for 10 months and we have had no issues with rashes or skin breakdown.

    We’ve used Desitin proactively for a long time. So far so good.

    We have also been using Medline Remedy Essentials Zinc Paste (orange tube) for about eight months now. Hospice and regular home health will order if you are using one of the services.
