Head Full of Honey

I watched this movie last night.  Wondering if anyone else has and what you thought? It has some big names in it.

I put it on my list. It does look like a tear-jerker from the trailer. Wonder what you thought of it?

I thought is was interesting.  It’s a fictional Hollywood movie so it’s fantastical in that sense.  I can understand why IMDb only gave it 5.3/10 stars. It did address some very real facts about dementia which I found refreshing. This two hour movie had to kind of cram in the realities of the disease, IMO, but they tried, which I appreciated. It was kind of fun, I laughed a bit, there were some tears but not too many.  Nick Nolte looked better than I’ve seen him in a long time. Lol.

Let me know what you think if/when you watch it.

    m&m,
watched this weekend and agree with your review. The storyline was fantastical and had a lot going on (affairs! big parties! explosions! (grin.)

The parts I enjoyed most were the scenes of Nick Nolte and his 10 year old grand-daughter's relationship; her ability to see him and be "in his world". I wonder if that part of the script came from a real-life experience? My mom with Alz has a grand-dog, and they are certainly good pals.

I agree, most of the adults in the movie were cranky and kind of frustrating to watch.  I think it was one way of showing how caregivers don’t really comprehend the reality of the situation at first.  The writer/director just threw the family into his life suddenly, which actually happens, during “The Crisis”. And as we all know or are learning, it takes a lot of learning and patience to “get it”.

If you enjoyed it, glad you watched.  Thanks for letting me know.

I have heard a lot about this movie. I will probably watch it with my husband this weekend. Just this week, I fixed the Internet, which was working very poorly for some reason (I found the company's contact information on https://metropcs.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html ). I know that this film is about a grandfather and a granddaughter. I love such films, although I know that I will cry at the end, as always
