Reminds me of a joke DH used to tell:

Three couples died and went to Heaven on the same day. St Peter met them at the pearly gates. He told the first couple they couldn't get in because all they thought about was food. In fact, they thought so much about food, the wife's nickname was Cookie. The second couple walked up and was told they couldn't get in either because all they thought about was money. In fact, they thought so much about money, the wife's nickname was Penny. The third couple was waiting their turn and watching all this, when the man whispered in his wife's ear, "It's not looking good for us, Fanny."

Ed, this made me smile and Marie, I laughed at yours.

    Thanks for sharing.

I am Scandinavian, though I was not born in Sweden or Norway, however, my great grand parents were.  When we attended our family reunions, someone always told Ole and Lena jokes.  One uncle and a cousin did skit, which still makes me smile!

Bottom line, I enjoy life so much more if I can laugh at myself or jokes about my heritage.

Have a good Wednesday and keep bringing us smiles.
