Bruises

This morning I noticed two bruises on the right side of my wife’s forehead. I have no idea how she got them or even when. I understand that many people in stage 6, as she is, develop stability problems. I hope this is not the beginning.

    Do you think she fell? Or maybe she just hit her head on a door frame or something? Whatever it is, just keep an eye on her for a while. If it's a problem with balance, you should notice that pretty quickly.

    Hi Arrowhead -- my sister is in stage 6 and definitely has balance issues.  When I walk with her down the hall, or outside, I always hold her hand or link my arm through hers. She's just not steady on her feet anymore. I suspect she'll be using a walker within the next couple of months.

    Definitely keep an eye out.
