Just thinking about you this morning and realized no posts in a while.  Hope all is well with you and your family.

Thanks for the thread, M1. I've been wondering about him too.

I'm OK, just getting over a minor illness and having some seasonal blahs, not sleeping well, that kind of thing.  My disabled son just got over Covid again without so much as putting out his cigarette (sigh).  My wife decides about once a day that Christmas is over and we missed it.  As they say in the Army, "Situation normal, all fouled up."

Thank you for thinking of me.  It brightened my day!

And there’s that other Army slang…..FUBAR.

Glad you're  feeling a little better, Stuck. But I'm sorry to hear about your son having covid again. I hope his symptoms are minor.

Hang in there buddy.  Glad you're still around.  Cigarettes and mental illness are another thing we could talk about a long time.   Nicotine has powerful effects on the brain, that's for sure, for sure.

SNAFU is the term from the military, right?

Yep, SNAFU and FUBAR are military slang and pretty much describe my life.  I'm not military but I like the slang and attitude.  "Situation hopeless but not serious" helps me get by sometimes.

    Thank you for being friends.
