A TIGHT REIN

GOD THOUGHT:  James 1:26

“Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless.”

VICTORY THOUGHT:  My faith calls to be careful what I say.

POWER PRAYER:  Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and govern my tongue, so my words will not turn anyone away from You.  Amen.

me:  When I was caregiver, I had a problem keeping my words kind when I felt stressed, so I understand the problem. I probably needed more prayer and Bible Study, so that is what I suggest.  Pray often, read the Word often and rest when needed. Also, cooperate with the Holy Spirit's guidance.
