Hidden in plain sight!

Yesterday I noticed my mom was carrying her mug of coffee around but I got distracted and forgot about it. Last night I was doing the dishes and I had a feeling that the mug was still missing but I didn't see any while I was collecting dishes. I assumed it was either already washed or amongst the dishes I had there.

I just found it! Not sure why but I was standing near the cat tree that stands about six feet tall and then noticed that on one of the perches was the mug! It was right at eye level for mom. No wonder the cat had been using the other cat tree last night; it was in her way!

I guess now I'll have to add that to my list of places to check for items she squirrels away

Too funny! I found so many things in odd places over the years! Washcloths in the fridge, etc.

Btw, I love that picture of your mom

Finding things in odd places can be frustrating. My wife has misplaced several things that I have never been able to find. Our house isn't large and there shouldn't be anywhere for her to put something where I can't find it, but she does.

Lately, I have been saying that my mother would be the world champion in a game of hide and seek. She keeps me on my toes when things go"missing".
