Assisted living with memory care

in I Am Living With Younger Onset Alzheimer's

 I’m going to visit a assisted living home with memory care unit next week.

I’m being recommended by my doctor to start plan for future whatever I can.

Someday I probably will need assisted living and this I can get help with my digestive problems.

But I can still get around with my walker so I can stay at home.

    Hi, Amy Joy.  It's a good idea to begin to plan early.  Do you have a trusted person to assist you?

     Hi Iris!

    Sorry for the late reply.....it’s been a difficult week.

    I’m getting used to the idea more as time goes by.

    Yeah my mom and her sister can no longer help me.

    So all I have left is my wife who has her own health problems 

    To deal with.

    So time will tell.

    Hope we will be fine soon.
