simple, indoor exercises for PWD

I found this website recently and have used it successfully with my mom who has dementia.  She is able to do the exercises independently.   I stream them on my computer and use an exterior speaker so we can make it loud enough for her.

Thank you!! Excellent videos, approved by this retired PT.  I would suggest starting with seated 5 min before attempting standing, especially if your LO has balance issues.  Work up to 10min before beginning any of the HIIT videos, especially if LO has any cardiac issues.  Even 30sec of high intensity interval training could be too much for someone with pre-existing cardiac problems.

I did the 5min standing walking video and felt a slight increase in heart rate.  Seated videos might be best for LO with hip or knee pain/arthritis.

    Thanks again!!
