FORGETTING WHERE HE IS

in I Am a Caregiver (General Topics)
my PWD is having trouble remembering where his shower is. He also does not believe that he lives in the house that he built 45 years ago. Is this typical ?

    quite typical I'm afraid.  My partner also built our house, and could not remember which drawer the forks were in.  She went to MC before she lost the orientation of the rooms.
