    I am involved in many committees and organizations and I can assure a lot is being done to change things and to make it better. So many pilot programs are being tested to see which ones will be adopted. Things in the dementia world are definitely changing for the better. Just need more people to get involved instead of staying on the sidelines. It also will take time as things change slowly.

    Thank  you - for posting - and so much dedication.

    We were part of some study about caregivers for a local University Hospital.  not sure will ever know the extent or outcome, but it did make us feel more involved, for at least a small part.

DH = Dear Husband
DW= Dear Wife, Darling Wife
LO = Loved One
ES = Early Stage
EO = Early Onset
FTD = Frontotemporal Dementia
VD = Vascular Dementia
MC = Memory Care
AL = Assisted Living
POA = Power of Attorney
