Diapers for men

My DH just started having incontinence issues. He’s always worn old style boxers. I’m concerned he won’t like the tightness of men’s diapers. Any ideas?

ElCy, I used parentgiving.com. They seem to be an excellent company, they have high quality products, and they provide a phone number on the site to call to speak to someone who can help you pick out the most likely product. You can order samples for $2.99 a pkg. There are 2 to a package. It takes a little longer to get samples, but their orders are handled very fast. You could call, and explain that he is used to boxer type underwear to see what they recommend. Good luck.

    ElCy-

I wouldn't borrow trouble. He might adapt; many do especially if the incontinence product is matter-of-factly introduced replacing other underwear with a fiblet about them not making the old kind anymore. My aunt sold her sister on them calling them "paper panties"-- you get a fresh pair every day and it cuts down on laundry for the septic system.

There are washable incontinence products, but in the boxer style they don't seem to have much capacity. You might be able to get away with a guard for a short time.

There will be an adjustment period for sure.  They will feel bulky when you first put them on.  But once he sits down he will forget about them.  In time he will adapt.
