Seeking Virtual Support Groups (Video or in real time)

Do these exist? Can someone provide links or info?

I am going through some things, and I very much need some support. Not in writing, but in real-time conversation.

Thanks!

I would like to know as well. There are times that we just need to talk to someone other than through the message boards.  A virtual support group, chat group , etc.

Check with your local Alzheimer's Association. We found an IRL support group there. Since COVID, some of those have gone to and stayed as a virtual format.

While the local group is a great complement to this one-- especially around local resources-- it only meets monthly. Some folks go more than one group.

You can find virtual support groups online through the Alzheimer’s association Alz.org.  You don’t have to go to a group in your area either.  I joined one that meets via zoom in my mom’s old area.  Find one that works for your situation and time frame.

I am looking for a video meeting group too. I am in Perth, Australia. My mum has Alzheimer’s and lives in a nursing home and I'm a single parent to two kids with ADHD, with ADHD myself and I work full time. I am experiencing depression and ambiguous/anticipatory grief. Yay.
