Thank you Ed for sharing. Definitely something my oldest daughter would do. She has mentioned several times if she had acres of land she would adopt as many dogs as she could. Her motto is dogs welcome people tolerated!

While browsing the web yesterday, I came across a picture of a woman in England, with a wagon that had two dogs in it. There were several others with her too. IIRC, it was around WW2. She found and adopted stray dogs. It was estimated that throughout her life she adopted 600 dogs.
