DH has macular degeneration on top of the Alz, and is really having trouble with using the TV Remote.  Wondering if someone has used a particular brand they can suggest.  He can't see the buttons on the regular one, doesn't feel things well due to neuropathy, frequently/daily gets the wrong channel or disconnects the TV from source.  Has anyone used an audio version remote?

    Hi M5M,

FireTV has audio search on its remote or Alexa device and can be programmed to activate a smart tv. This helped my father to find his usual programs,

since i was still working,  i bought an extended play dvr and put in 6 dvds and by the time i got home it was just starting to recycle to the first dvd and hid all remotes as he accidentally messed them up by pressing incorrect buttons.  to be honest i think he slept through most of the shows.
