Three Magical Words

My DW and I have gone through a 7-year journey since a 2015 stroke. As many of you have described, we have had very difficult moments. This may not sound profound, but I have found that when we are at our most stressful moments if we just say to each other "I love you!" peace enters our world together. I have to believe that despite the challenges we share that message is heard.

I think we can all agree that there is a lot of power in those three words. It's not surprising that they could ease a bad situation. That's something we all need to hear.

Those little words can lift the heaviest burden. The only words we are never tired of hearing. JLB thank you for sharing.

I agree, those three words are most powerful.  Charles has been gone eight years and I still tell him that I love him and always will.

Don't know if DW comprehends the words, but I tell her everyday. It makes me feel better to say them.
