The Celebration of Life for DH is over, the out of town friends and family have gone home, some of the flowers we received are starting to fade and wilt. Now the next chapter in my life begins.

This forum is the best place to learn, rant, ask questions, get support, share experiences and more. Thank you to everyone for sharing what you do to help others. I have recommended this forum to so many other caregivers and will continue to do so. You have become friends and I will continue to think about everyone and pray for you and your LO. 

I'm going to take a break for a while. I want to focus on good memories and not dementia. May God bless you all and your LOs as you continue on this most difficult journey.

I am so sorry to hear this news about your DH...just so sad to hear about all of our friends on this site the have lost their spouses. 

Yes, it is your time now to reflect on the good times you had together. When we are in the midst of caregiving it is hard to remember all those good times.

Blessings to you and your family..I hope I can be as strong as  you have been as I am entering this last stage.
