Galatians 5:22-23 Amplified Bible
" But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law."

me: When I was a caregiver, I sure needed every Fruit of the Spirit. A good thing "we" don't have to produce it alone. It is the Holy Spirit in us that gives us what we need to succeed. Of course, we must cooperate with the Spirit by staying attached to the Vine, Jesus our Savior and God. I think we do this by communicating with Him, reading His teachings in our Bible and pondering how we can apply His Words to our lives.

Praying and reading the Word for a few minutes each morning is a good way for us receive stamina and energy for the day ahead via the Holy Spirit. If we are tired mentally, emotionally and physically, the Lord wants to hear about it. Ask for guidance how to overcome the many pitfalls of caregiving. And be alert for His guidance and answers. God loves us and wants us to find victory.
