*

1 Corinthians 13:4

…Love endures with patience and serenity,

*

me:  How can we ride out difficulty with serenity, with peace? How can we be patient with those who upset us often? We remind ourselves no one is perfect.  And most importantly we know God’s Spirit is in us, so we make time to pray and trust His guidance and wisdom as each difficulty arises.

*

Take Away:  When we are tired and someone upsets us, we may react without thinking. Several times a day, we need to sit down in a comfy chair with our feet up and relax for a few minutes. This can be the time to send up another quick prayer.  Even if it is only for five minutes, resting and focusing on the Lord helps us be patient.
