    Yes. This is why we want the delete function back. No need to have orphan posts cluttering up what is already cluttered. It takes so much more space on my screen to see what I saw before

    How about this: In the meantime, "Edit", delete your text, then write "Post Deleted".

    Ed, that deleted the text just fine but the thread topic is still there...I tried before to delete the topic but it didn't work. Any ideas for that? By hook or by crook we will get it done...lol

    No, you can't delete the topic heading, but you can change it. I just thought if it were changed to "Deleted", it would be easy for others to understand that it should be skipped over.
