Waterhouse, welcome as a new Member. You do not mention your experience in how you personally relate to Alzheimer's or related dementia's and caregiving. Are you caring for a Loved One with dementia or do you work in the field of providing care within your job?

Being that you are new, can I can share with you that ALL of the items you mention wanting to cover, chatting about everything and anything related to caregiving with Alzheimers and other related dementia's as well as questions, supporting one another and providing tips and "tricks" are ALL what is already happening on AlzConnected. This is the purpose of AlzConnected and has been so for years.

I did note that in the Group you formed , there are many people of who I do not recognize their names; one at least appeared to work in a care facility - are these folks recruited from care aide positions or other professional care providers in care facilities to come here for your Group? Would be nice to clarify more fully.

Thank you for providing input so we may understand things better. In the meantime, as a new Member, do check out the Threads and Posts on the o Forums; there is much support, much experiential wisdom, and pretty much everything is open for discussion and helpful support for the Members.
