Figit or Dementia Blanket

My DH constantly picks at his skin on his face and arms creating callus areas. He says he is not anxious or worried and he has always been a bit OCD. I purchased a figit or dementia blanket or Etsy and it has been helpful.

Thank you Denise. I’m glad it worked for your dh . My dh had a habit of rubbing,scratching his eyebrows. He kept telling me to get “this stuff “ off of me. Trying to explain to him it was his eyebrows made no sense to him. I finally shaved his eyebrows off! (I know crazy right!) But it stopped him from scratching and pulling on them. So now when I shave his face I shave his eyebrows too. Our kids of course wanted to know why I did that. Some of the things we have to do to keep our Lo content!

Nothing is stopping my DH from scratching the scabs (from acne trying to heal) on his neck/shoulders. 🙁
