my wife is 76 and has had Alzheimer's for about 11 years. Now she is ( and me ) are experiencing her having some constipation. Most medicine and vitamins she wants to chew before swallowing. Stool softeners taste terrible, laxatives say do not use if you cannot just swallow. We eat fresh fruit & vegetables every day, no processed or junk food. Anyone have any ideas what could help. And we take a dog walk every day, most of the time my wife goes, that's about her exercise.

Miralax is over the counter - works like a charm. It’s dissolved in a liquid.

Miralax is great. You can mix it in a drink and it works well.
