    Thanks for posting, Lane! Many years ago I was advised to focus on eating antioxidant foods to counteract free radicals. This was as part of treatment for lupus. I don't have Alzheimer's Disease. I noted the point about high glycemic foods in persons who are APO e4 positive. Good for me to know and remember, to help me stay focused. Iris

    Thank you, Iris. I think there are quite a few of diseases that are caused by oxidative stress, so a combination of antioxidants may help in the treatment of many of them. The APOE4 gene does seem to magnify different risk factors for diseases, including high glucose levels.
