9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth,

so my ways are higher than your ways

and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

me: Sometimes we kinda understand why some things in our lives have happened, and other times we scratch our heads and say, "Why me, Lord?"

Wherever we find ourselves, we can always be sure God's plan and purpose for our lives are what He has deemed best for us and others around us.

His ways and thoughts are higher than ours. We do not have to understand the why, we just have to trust His wisdom and His love. He walks with us and holds us up, so we are not defeated.

Thank you for the scriptures and encouragement. I just made it back in town with my mom. She has been showing signs of decline for the past few years, but more prevalent the past 12 months. My sister unexpectedly left my mom alone without a word. I have cried a bit, but probably not as much as I should. I have stuffed my feelings down and have jumped into action to bring my mom home. I have no clue what I am doing, but I know that I want to take care of my mom. Please pray for me and thank you again.
