48th wedding anniversary

It's now 48 years since I married my princess.

And 5 years since she had any idea who I was

I served chocolate cake and Ice cream for our 48th wedding anniversary

I sang the old songs from the 70s

She wore a dress she first wore 50 years ago

and I read a poem from ― Isaac Asimov

“In memory yet green, in joy still felt,

The scenes of life rise sharply into view.

We triumph; Life's disasters are undealt,

And while all else is old, the world is new.”

    Happy Anniversary. We celebrated our 64th in memory care with a pizza and cake. DH knew it was our anniversary celebration. One of my most recent fond memories to cherish. Make the most of them while you can. You did it in a lovely way.
