Mother in 3rd stage dementia with catastrophic events and I’m not included by my family members
My 5 siblings have trouble including me in discussions about my mothers health and any advice I’d like to share with mothers primary care giving by either my Sister Karen or her sister in law who we pay but has no experience with care for dementia. A few weeks ago my sister in NY city Manhattan has transported her there from South Jersey and had her stay for weekend and my brother a week later took mother for 4 days to Virginia. Both time after returning home she had catastrophic events. One was she thinks my brother is having a baby and the other is she can’t get help burying my father who has been gone for 20 years. I’m gonna try a support group online but any advice on dealing with being made an outsider by your own siblings would be helpful. I believe she is trying to say she feels lost from all the travel but it comes out as baby coming or father needs to be buried.
