I don't know how to use the Google translator and I can only rudimentarily read French, but I will try to translate this. I know some members speak and read French and can answer directly, Perhaps, if someone responds in English someone else can translate the response into French.
"Good day. My mother who is 87 years old has dementia. On May 15th she went to be with a friend in Strasbourg. I live in Cevennes. Because there was a friend/lover, I did not bring her to live close to me. But this friend/lover passed away. My mother has a small circle of friends in Strasbourg; but the more she forgets the less they are going to visit her. They have troubles communicating with her. They are always giving her attention, reminding her of them or other things, but do not at present, include her in the discussion.
The question is the following: is it better to have a place near my home (thus relocating entirely); knowing that I can visit her at least twice a day. My children also live in the south of France.
Thank you for your advice."
I am going to see if I can learn how to use google translator to get a better translation. I learned something new
"Hello, My 87-year-old mother, suffering from dementia, has been in a protected living unit in Strasbourg since May 15. Personally, I live in the Cévennes. As she had a friend/lover in Strasbourg, I didn't want to install her near my home. But this friend/lover has just passed away. If she has a "small" circle of friends in Strasbourg, I know that the more she forgets, the less they will visit her. I already see the difficulties for them to exchange with her. They are always waiting for her to remember such and such things, do not understand that it is now up to them to feed the discussion.
My request is as follows: is it better to install it near my home, even if it means relocating it completely, knowing that I could visit it at least every 2 days, that my children also live in the south of France, etc."
Thank you for your advice

Bienvenue Samyo.

Merci.
