Anyone using this drug to help with their love one's angry outburst and depression?

    Are you sure you have the name spelled correctly? I just tried to find it on drugs.com. They had nothing on it.

    Topamax?

    I don't know anyone prescribed this medication for agitation and depression. That said, I do know a young adult who was prescribed a different antiseizure medication (Lactimal) for his OCD, anxiety and depression (manifested a low-level irritability and meltdown behavior) after he'd done poorly on other classes of medication. It was a life changer for him.

    Yes I think you must mean topamax. It's an anticonvulsant that is also used for migraine headache prevention. I've not heard of it used for behavioral issues, but a lot of these drugs have crossover uses. there is another anticonvulsant-=Depakote/valproic acid--that is used for bipolar disorder and behaviors.
