Hello all.

Let me preface my comments by stating that I am not a healthcare professional; however, I am a researcher and a life-long learner.

My father, his mother (my grandmother), and his grandfather (my great grandfather) ALL had Alzheimer's. When my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2015 (we suspect my father actually started showing signs in 2001 we just didn't know it) I started doing a lot of research to see if there was anything I could do to prevent me from coming down with this horrible disease.

At that time, 2015, I thought like man of you perhaps, that Alzheimer's was hereditary; however, after reading "Grain Brain" by Dr. David Perlmutter, I realized that just because there is a history of Alzheimer's in my family does not mean that I am sure to get it.

We are doing to ourselves that contribute to us getting dementia, Alzheimer's, fibromyalgia, migraines, coronary artery disease, etc., as well as a host of other illnesses and we don't even know it. Additionally, we as a public have been duped about cholesterol, carbs, fat, and sugars and STATINS (cholesterol lowering medications).

I finished "Grain Brain" back in 2015 and read it in two days. I recently purchased the revised version by Dr. Perlmutter and have learned a great deal more.

Since I implemented the suggestions by Dr. Perlmutter, as well as Dr. Daniel Amen of the Amen clinics, I have:

-lost 35 lbs. (simply cut out sugars, CARBOHYDRATES, gluten: rye, wheat, and barley, increased my intake of fat: milk, cheese, eggs, meats (grass-fed), and increased my intake of green leafy vegetables: kale (all kinds), mustard greens, etc., and switched from rice to quinoa.

-improved my memory;

-do not have "brain fog" issues anymore, and

-my PTSD symptoms have calmed down, although not completely gone.

I do not take any prescription medications only supplements, including a multi-vitamin, and Vitamin D, which is essential to producing cholesterol (cholesterol contributes to a healthy brain).

If you want to live a healthier life, improve your brain function (i.e., prevent brain deterioration), avoid getting diabetes, and generally feeling better, PLEASE purchase and read the revised version of "Grain Brain".

I hope you purchase and read the "Grain Brain".

I wish you good health.

May God's light guide your day, and may His spirit fill your heart with peace.

Sincerely,

Damion
