Has anyone used the medic alert gps system?

I am wondering if anyone has used the tracking system promoted by the Alzheimer’s Association. Medic Alert. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

    Hi Maria,

    Is it a gps? It looks more like a medical alert ID, and they do offer to notify EMS with yourloved one's profile if they wander. I bought a gps device from Amazon and paid the $20/month for tracking while my mom was living with me. It was a constant battle getting her to keep the thing in her coat pocket. I think there are lot of options out there, but the trick is getting whatever device you chose to stay on the person who is out and about.

    Thank you 🙏 yes it is a medic alert bracelet. She has one without the tracking ability and does take it off. For now I put an Apple tag on her purse but am not sure what she will keep on her body or shoes? Thanks again, I’ll keep looking.
