My husband is already on Depakote and will also be starting on Seroquel.

Anyone with experience having a loved one taking the combination of both?

VJW, it's so hard to find the right combo of medications (cocktail, as they say) for a PWD. So many factors come into play such as the type of dementia, the patient, and other physical ailments. It's mostly trial and error. For some meds, it can take up to 6 weeks for the efficacy to start working, which is so difficult for us because we all want immediate relief. Also, what works today may not work later as the disease progresses. Sorry, I'm not much help here.
