I'm taking care of myself as best as I can I'm not able to sleep because I can't find out how my husband is doing and it's driving me crazy I wish they would just let me know how he is everyone says I was mean to him but I'm the one that took care of him people where I live can tell you I was never mean to him the vascular dementia has really changed him i miss him so bad but I know I can't give him the care he needs and deserve

First of all, welcome to the forum, but sorry you need it.

Who is "everyone"? And why can't you find out how your DH is doing? Is he in a memory care facility, or something similar? Do you have DPOA (durable power of attorney)? Is this your first and only marriage? Many times problems with in-laws come with this disease. I hope that is not the case. Sorry for all the questions, but the answers to them will make it easier for you to get the proper replies.
