    This was very helpful because I wondered what these waivers were. My parents would not be eligible yet, and their particular AL does not take Medicaid. They would eventually qualify for the supportive living waiver in Illinois when their savings is gone. There are supportive living facilities in the larger towns and cities.

    When I first heard of Medicaid waivers just a little while back, I did not know what they were either. I am sorry that your parents don't qualify for them yet.
