    That's a super interesting map.

Can I just say, that I was more interested in looking at all the county names that pop up when you hover over the map than the actual data? I love seeing the size of the counties all over the US!

Interesting. My county is 10.7. (Where I have lived for 55 years, since marrying DH- - his home county). The county of my birth is 12.3.

    It's an interesting map.

I wonder how it corelates to the racial makeup of each county given that some POC are more likely to be diagnosed with Alzheimer's or other dementia than white people.

Another interesting perspective would be an overlay of typical education levels in a community and rates of dementia to see if that is part of what is being seen.

I wonder, too, how much the availability of medical care/specialists play into rates of diagnosis geographically. I imagine those living near big cities might be more likely to be referred to a memory center or specialist neurologist and get a diagnosis compared to more rural areas where PCPs may be reluctant to offer a diagnosis.
