Eating and bathroom issues in mc

My mom is in mc and has been for almost 4 months. She is still struggling to find her bathroom, which means she is using the bathroom in many other places. I’ve put motion sensors lights on the inside of the bathroom door (which stays open) and lights around the toilet.

I need ideas.

she also is slowing in her eating. She will eat with us but if we are not there she won’t eat in mc. Any suggestions? If she doesn’t eat she won’t be strong. It’s a vicious cycle.

Bedside commode, perhaps?

I would discuss the eating issues with the MC nursing director--proper nutrition should be a part of her care plan. Will she eat if the MC has staff sit with her?

Im going thru a phase my mom will go crazy and won’t eat. I usually let her this thought or crazy scene flush out the system. I often eat first then sit next her when she calms down.
