Asked by nannyritch- Woken in the night by DH reaching for her hand

I'm creating a new discussion for nannyritch's question in another thread. You're more likely to get responses if a new discussion is started.

"Can’t thank y’all enough for posts. It’s good to know I’m not the only one out there going thur this. I have a question. My DH wakes me up constantly during night just reaching out. It’s so hard to go back to sleep. Any suggestions?"

Nanntritch, welcome to the forum. Sorry you're going through this too. I'm not sure if there is anything that will stop his reaching out other than separate beds. He may be feeling insecure, and looking for something to calm his feelings. The best thing for you to do might be to just hold his hand, and hope you can both sleep like that. Sorry I don't have a better fix for you.

We hold hands most of the time we're sleeping, gotten even more affectionate since her diagnosis.
