OT a book recommendation

I just finished reading "Never Give Up A Prairie Family's Story" by Tom Brokaw, who also wrote The Greatest Generation. This is a great book about his parents, growing during the Depression, then through WWII, and onward. It's a nice easy read, with photos, about a part of the country that is less known to most of us (South Dakota). If you need a break, this book can take you to another time and another world. It might be a good book to recommend to younger people and to high school students.
